Last week I was walking home from the subway as I usually do and I happen to roll up on Shepard Fairey and his Obey team creating the most incredible mural right under the BQE.
Turns out, it was part of the Wooster Collective 10th Anniversary Show. I know, I was like, this is the coolest thing ever. Check out #dumbowalls.
I hung out for a while and watched him and his team work, it was amazing. To check out my in-action shot, click here. To see a little video I took that day, click here. This is the coolest and most spontaneous thing that has ever happened to me in Brooklyn, and now I get to see this beautiful piece of art every time I walk to and from the subway. I’m all, Thank you Shep – you *are* my hero (see: his shirt).
